The working home of John Mac Kah is located in the River District of Asheville, NC and is housed in the historic Cotton Mill Studios. Using time-honored materials of oil paint, glazes and varnishes he crafts unparallel depth of color and rich textures on each canvas. John creates contemporary master works that range in size from exquisite gems to large format murals on canvas. Starting in the field, with studies done on location, he brings each landscape uniquely alive. His paintings and prints are in private collections world wide. Artists can now make images affordable to a wider audience without having to the upfront and storage costs for large print runs.

From these carefully executed original paintings, Long Branch Studios in collaboration with a quality printmaker can offer prints made to the highest standards on archival canvas using high-density pigmented inks. Issued in exclusive numbered, limited editions these prints capture the essence of the original and are collectible in their own right. With each print is a Certificate of Authenticity. Our high-quality prints have deep resonance and lasting value as the originals and they are affordable art investment. Limited Edition Prints from Long Branch Studios

 

With the advent of on demand Giclee printing, artists are excited to make available affordable fine art for a larger audience. John Mac Kah and Long Branch Studios now can provide high quality limited edition prints of the work of paintings to frame shops that are only in private collections and galleries. John has been painting for over 30 years and his landscapes represent a continuation of American painting tradition that carries on the time-honored use of materials and tools of oil painting. Prints from Long Branch studios are carefully color matched to the original. From my original paintings and working closely with my print maker, we produce high resolution, digitally captured Giclee prints on archival canvas using tested, light-fast pigmented inks. Issued in numbered, limited editions, these prints capture the essence of the original and are collectible in their own right. It is our intention to close production of these editions once the limitation has been reached for prints in the original size. For that reason, I sign and number each print and issue a Certificate of Authenticity to assure you of their value. Collectors, decorators, and corporate buyers have been enthusiastic buyers of these prints. The images have deep resonance and lasting value as the originals and are an affordable art investment. While we have some prints on hand in our studio, I ask you to keep in mind that it may require 2-3 weeks for delivery, although in most cases that time is shorter. We stretch prints produced on canvas prior to delivery. Smaller size prints and those printed on paper may be mounted on board. They are all coated with a UV protective sealant to further insure light-fastness. We suggest, however, to our customers that they do not expose them for long periods to direct sunlight. We inspect each carefully before shipping. These are not mass produced and we are confident and pleased to make them available as an affordable alternative.

Because these are all custom produced prints, all sales are final. Not all images are available as open editions. These prints are not massproduced and they are produced one at a time.
